K Customs is the name I chose for my custom/artistic woodworking and furniture making business based in Windsor, Ontario. I started out in June 2020, due to uncontrollable events in the world and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. I am a chiefly self taught woodworker, though I owe much of my knowledge base to my Grandfather, Bryan. My knowledge of resins and concrete comes from a professional background in a related field. I operate out of my own space, which is constantly in flux, and this allows me to focus on the custom builds that I really enjoy.
I’ve made it a point since the beginning to support local businesses where ever I am able to. Most of the things I produce are crafted from lumber/slabs sourced from within an hour of my home, to reduce the travel impact and to help boost the local economy. Beyond that I do my best to only buy lumber made from trees that either fell due to a natural event, or had to be felled due to disease or a safety concern. While I am a woodworker, I care about leaving this planet habitable for the next generation.
If you’re looking for something that will look beautiful, last a long time and didn’t damage the climate in its production you’ve come to the right place.
